PRIVACY
WHAT IS STORED
- Service submissions: the text a buyer writes for wishes, hauntings, advice, the mirror, the vacuum, the hour, wall names and the campaign country choice.
- Order records from the payment providers: the product, the amount, the currency and the provider's own reference ids. Card numbers are never stored; they never touch this site.
- Display names entered at checkout.
- Vote casts.
- If NOTIFY ME is pressed: the subscription your browser creates, which is an address your browser gives this site so alerts can reach it, plus its keys. No name, no email, no device details. Pressing it again after turning notifications off removes it.
- Free draw entries, with the optional contact given on the free entry form.
- Game wallet ids and scores.
- Hashed identifiers used for rate limiting. IP addresses are stored only as keyed hashes, never raw.
PAYMENTS
Payment processing is handled by Stripe and PayPal on their own systems. This site receives confirmation that a payment was made, never card details.
QUOTED SUBMISSIONS
Submissions may be quoted, anonymised, in the experiment's posts.
THE VACUUM
The vacuum's submissions are never quoted or published anywhere. Its product is privacy.
DELETION ON REQUEST
Submissions can be deleted on request. Deletion removes the live record immediately, and rolling site backups age out within 14 days, which is the full erasure horizon.
